Produced by mechanical method without heat treatment. It does not contain additives and preservatives. The dark yellow colored fixed oil is rich in active lecithins.
- Flaxseed oil is particularly rich in vitamin F and contains a group of substances called lignans.
- Flaxseed oil is also a source of phytonutrients, vitamin E (tocopherols), carotenes (precursors of vitamin A) and organo-minerals that are readily available to the body.
- It is never used for cooking or as frying oil. It can be used in salads, cold appetizers or meals by adding cold afterwards. Consumption of two teaspoons a day in adults and one teaspoon in children under six years of age constitutes % 30 of the daily calorie intake from oil.
