  • Flaxseed oil, flax ( Linum usitatissimum L. ) It is a fixed oil obtained from the seeds of the plant by cold pressing technique. Produced by mechanical method without heat treatment. It does not contain additives and preservatives. The dark yellow colored fixed oil is rich in active lecithins.
  • Flaxseed oil is particularly rich in vitamin F and contains a group of substances called lignans.
  • Flaxseed oil is also a source of phytonutrients, vitamin E (tocopherols), carotenes (precursors of vitamin A) and organo-minerals that are readily available to the body.
  • It is never used for cooking or as frying oil. It can be used in salads, cold appetizers or meals by adding cold afterwards. Consumption of two teaspoons a day in adults and one teaspoon in children under six years of age constitutes % 30 of the daily calorie intake from oil.
  • It should be stored under refrigerator conditions with the lid closed.
